Formerly known as Jamie Fender, I was swept off my feet and married a handsome fella,
no longer a Fender I am now rocking out Amazing Portraits, Wedding, and Boudoir as The Jame.
I have been capturing amazing moments for nearly 15 years and am literally
living my childhood dream.I even wrote a report about it 6th grade. No lie.
I have travelled the world with my workand have been featured in multiple
publications such as Style Me Pretty, Arkansas Bride, The Lovely Find,
Urban Style Blog, The Wedding Post, Love Bird Productions and more.
Outside of my work I love to cook, and I am pretty damn good at it!! (not to brag,
but for realz, I’m awesome)There is just something that satisfies my soul about
being in the kitchen with a room full of people and making them all
happy with my creation. I listen to health and nutrition podcasts like they
are going out of style, and my collection of cookbooks is getting out
of control. Whole body wellness is a big deal to me. I grew up a ballet dancer,
and have dabbled in a bajillion things from CrossFit to cycling. Most recently
I have fallen in love with Yoga. So much that I decided to become an instructor,
completed a 200-hour training program and have my 200 RYT with the
Yoga Alliance. You should come take my class sometime! I have always
loved to read, but these days I just don’t have the time so I listen to audio books
while processing images. This has an interesting side effect of the characters
taking on the faces of my clients. 🙂 I really love to learn, I will forever be
a student. In the summertime we live on the boat; paddle kayaks and Stand Up
Paddle board Yoga, which is totally amazing. In the winter I’m building fires.
I love fire. I do not watch TV and feel left out quite often in conversations
because of this, but not enough for me to renew my cable subscription.
I talk a lot. I love champagne, it’s my current fav.
If I were to pick one word to describe myself it would probably be vibrant.
I think that sums me up for now!
If you would like to know more,
I have a lifestyle blog www.whatsonmyplate.me and follow me on

I’m on Instagram the most. 🙂
